On-Line Services

Our Online Services

Repeat prescriptions and appointments can now be booked on line. Patients who would like to access these services can register by coming into surgery with 2 proofs of id, one must contain your current address. Once registered follow this link:- https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com We provide a varied range of appointment timings for the GP and the Practice Nurse. Our District Nurses provide nursing care of the acutely and chronically sick. They will visit you at home if your condition requires it. Please contact the surgery if you would like a referral to the District Nurse.

Enquiries and Results

If you have a general enquiry or if you are ringing for results of a test, please ring after 12.00 when the phone lines are not so busy. Please note that results will only be given to the patient concerned.

It is really important for the practice to be able to contact our patients quickly and easily. In order to do this, if you have provided us with your mobile phone number we will use this to: • Send you appointment confirmations • Send you appointment reminders • Send you messages regarding results or other information that you need to be aware of • Send you relevant health campaigns that are pertinent to you eg Flu clinics • Send you other health information that may be useful • Send you Friends and Family Survey requests If at any time you do not wish to receive such sms/text messages please inform a member of the reception team who will be able to opt you out. If at any time in the future you change your mobile phone number please ensure that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can keep in touch.

Evening & Weekend Appointments

Evening and weekend GP appointments now available contact our reception to book. You can access additional appointments with GPs, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, clinical pharmacists and physiotherapists at the GP & Service Upper Parliament Streets. Contact the reception to book. Find out more on ncgpa.or.uk/gpplus. Additional times are Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM and Monday to Friday 4 PM to 8 PM. Complaints

Our complaint procedure is posted in our patient lobby and may also be received at reception. If you have a patient complaint, please feel free to contact Jonathan Bhushan (Complaint Manager) on 0115 9756501. We take patient complaints seriously and view them as a constructive way to enhance the practice and improve patient outcomes.

GP Fees 31 March 2017

Locum GP total Fees were £66,260. The practice averaged two locum GPs in 2017 for an average fee of £33,130 / GP locum. The GP partnership (2 GPs) received £54,504 for year ended March 31, 2017. This is an average of £27,252 / GP partner. Our Doctors continue to operate in one of the most deprived and challenging areas in the United Kingdom, serving our patients.

Vulnerable Groups During Lockdown Announcement of a new lockdown will be concerning for some patients, especially those in very vulnerable risk groups & those with children attending education. The current government advice about high risk groups is available from the www.gov.uk website GP's are unable to help with requests for sick notes or other letters in such circumstances. For people concerned about children attending educational settings; As a practice we are very sorry, but decisions about children attending school are not ours to make. HANDS. FACE. SPACE. Covid-19 Vaccinations Please do not call the practice about getting the Covid-19 vaccination, when it is your turn to have the vaccine the NHS will contact you.
